SpotlessGiG is an open directory, not an agency. Read these rules to ensure maximum security when working with independent service providers.
Disclaimer
The SpotlessGiG platform does not perform preliminary checks of background, judicial status, identity documents or reliability of users (both clients and cleaners). We only provide the software infrastructure for connection. All responsibility for the verification of the other party, security and financial relations is entirely yours.
1. Initial contact and communication
- •During the first call, clarify in detail the scope of work, square metres, availability of cleaning materials and the exact final price before the visit.
- •Request written confirmation of the terms via SMS or Viber message for traceability of the agreement in case of a potential dispute.
2. During the home visit
- •During the first visit of an unknown provider, we strongly recommend that you be personally present in the dwelling throughout the entire cleaning time.
- •Put all valuables, cash, jewellery, important documents and small portable electronics in a safe place before the person's arrival.
- •Do a quick walkthrough with the cleaner at the beginning to point out specific surfaces requiring delicate treatment and any existing damage.
3. Payments and financial security
- •Never pay the full amount in advance before the service is performed and inspected by you.
- •SpotlessGiG does not collect, process or guarantee transactions. Pay in cash or by bank transfer/Revolut directly to the person only after you are satisfied with the quality of the work performed.
4. Reporting incidents and violations
We have zero tolerance for theft, fraud, aggressive behaviour or intentional damage to property. If an irregularity is found:
- •If you suspect a crime or a threat to your security, immediately contact law enforcement authorities on phone 112.
- • Send us a detailed report with data, photos or messages to address contact@spotlessgig.com , so that we can permanently block the incorrect profile from our system.
